Description:
The Bald Eagles, a gathering of "baldies" except Mike Walbridge, who wore a rubbery 'skin wig', were regular members of other bands. It was never conceived that the group would play together for long. Before disbanding the group played only a handful of gigs, including a concert for the Illiana Jazz Club in 1979 and six days over two weekends at the Illinois State Fair in the Stroh's beer tent. Instrumentation is trombone, clarinet, cornet, piano, banjo, E flat tuba and washboard/percussion/nose whistle.
