MIKE CAIN
WHAT MEANS THIS? | |
Description:
During the course of his professional career, Mike Cain has performed with many jazz artists and emerged upon the international jazz scene as an exciting talent. The idea of doing a trio record with piano, bass and drums had long been a desire of the pianist so this recording, originally released in 1991, with Anthony Cox bass, Marvin "Smitty" Smith drums and Paul Hannah percussion was a chance for him to fulfill this desire. Here they interact with each other and experiment on Cain's eight originals with compromising coherence and form. |
