Like fellow Canadian Diana Krall, Cooper is as acclaimed an instrumentalist as she is a singer. Cooper charms with her multi faceted saxophone playing, and like every great singer, she not only knows how to fascinate with notes, but also with her wonderful use of space in her delivery. Now living in Vienna, Sheila has paired up with legendary Viennese pianist Fritz Pauer and produced her first album for Candid, a collection of meaningful ballads entitled "Tales of Love and Longing". |
