It was Dave Garroway from Columbia records, who re christened her as Jill Corey. She subsequently became a regular cast member on the Johnny Carson and Robert Q. Lewis television shows as well as lead singer on "Your Hit Parade". In 1958, Jill Corey became the youngest performer ever to headline at New York's world famous Copacabana Club. |
