A previously unissued concert in Italy. The group on this CD was most probably the second greatest Miles Davis Quintet ever assembled. When the Milan concert was recorded, the band had just recently formed. The concert at the Teatro Dell'Arte in Milano, Italy, was part of a European tour. The show featured a typical program for the period. The electric aura still seems distant, but the experimental feeling is already there, and can be heard and enjoyed throughout the performance. |
