Studio recording from 1981 of cornetist "Wild Bill" Davison with Yoshi Toyama's Dixieland Saints when Davison was on a tour of Japan. The Wild Bill session was recorded by audio specialist and great jazz fan, Mr. Masao Ogawa, who sold the tape to Mr. George H. Buck and then he suddenly passed away, leaving the recording sort of forgotten for a long time. However, Wild Bill's playing in Japan is going to be introduced to the world at last. |
