In 1951 Easter singed with Lew Chudd's Imperial Records. Four Ernie Freeman arranged records came out over a seven month period. None has seen reissue until now. Easter played at the gala opening of the Uptown Ballroom formerly The Savoy in South Central L.A. with torch singer Dorothy Gavin sharing the bill.
