EDISON COLLECTION - THE COUNTRY MUSIC PIONEERS ON EDISON

Description:
Document Records presents a release of new and historical sounds, compiled from an amazing depository of over 300 hours of recordings made between 1914 and 1929, 90% of which are being made available to the public for the first time. The CD begins with one of the earliest recordings in country music, a 1922 recording by Shirley Spalding.
