The Elgart band’s popularity was long running; the group was often voted Number One Big Band by Billboard and Cash Box Magazines. The two albums collected on this disc have long been out of print – among the highlights of this 24 track collection are “Cherokee”, “Poinciana”, and “Poor Butterfly”. |
