Description:
Consumed by the pain and surrendered to drugs and alcohol, Evans underook nevertheless a long international tour for the remaining months of 1979. Evans if his studio of his live performances of the perios were fortunately taped and preserved to pasterity. He was recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Spetember 17; back in the States in Louisiana On November 6; and then he travelled to Europe. Three extant 1979 performances were recorded there: one in Paris on November 26, one at the Balboa Club in Madrid, Spain, on December 11 12, and the Rome performance contained on this CD, taped on unknown date between the two previously mentioned concerts. After some months of discographical silences, the next chance to listen to Bill.
