This 24 track collection features music never eclipsed by another Shep Fields Orchestra the period of the late '40s and early '50s was truly a creative golden age for Shep's band. These songs are an experienced synthesis of all of the experiments the leader had conducted, and the elements come together in a varied collection of staccato to brass, nostalgic medleys, and galloping temple blocks. Features vocalists Toni Arden, Bob Johnstone, Tommy Lucas, Larry Neill, Dorothy Allen and Sonny Washburn.
