Over his career Hampton made more jazz recordings than any other single instrumentalist. The two original Columbia Recordings from 1958 and 1960 included here showcase Hampton’s sensitive and soft side. Among the melodic interpretations included in this romantic collection are "What’s New", "Round Midnight", and "The More I See You".
