On this album the Ted Heath Band, continuing its tributes to the great names of the big band scene. With this third volume of Ted Heath singles and rarities we observe the band moving into the so called 'swinging sixties' and constantly adapting to the ever changing musical environment of the time. The basic personnel and instrumentation remained constant but soemtimes extra brass, reeds and percussion were added for recording purposes, so a little speculation is necessary for these notes. |
