KEEPIN' OUT OF MISCHIEF

Description:
Throughout the 1920s, Art was growing up in Chicago in the heartland of the burgeoning new music that was sweeping America. He was perfectly at ease on the South Side. However, nearly twenty years were to pass before his own reputation spread outside the Windy City. His move to New York sparked a new career that made him an ardent propagandist for early jazz. His playing graced countless record sessions over the decades and this solo piano album, together with Pagin' Mr Jelly, CND 79037 was one of the last he made.
