THE GLORY OF LOVE / BITS AND PIECES | |
Description:
Jackie Cain & Roy Kral joined forces in 1946 and they gained recognition through working with Charlie Ventura. They got married in 1949 and went on to perform together right up until 2002. Their musical intelligence together with their bright, clear and accurate voices, made them among the era's best jazz singers. They were also one of the first acts to sing in the vocalese style, using lyrics to fit improvisations.
