In 1945 Harry and the band were regularly featuring on the Danny Kaye show and by 1946 were regulars on the Coca Cola Spotlight show, it is from that series that this album is compiled. Harry James was one of the survivors of the swing era, consistently producing good music, he carried on working for at least another thirty years, almost until his death in July 1983.
