The legendary Preservation Hall in New Orleans continues to present music by artists who lived in and were influenced by New Orleans jazz. This disc brings together two Jazz at Preservation Hall albums which were originally released by Atlantic. The first spotlights the rolling Eureka Brass Band of New Orleans, while the second features the voice and piano playing of Billie Pierce accompanied by husband De De on trumpet, as well as a jazzy set by jazz trombonist Jim Robinson's New Orleans Band. |
