This historic disc contains the four National Guard shows That Stan Kenton and His Orchestra performed at the NBC Studios in New York City on the 28th of September, 1953. The CD contains each show in its entirety including announcements and more. Please note that there are two performances of "Swinghouse" on this disc which are identical. The latter one was dubbed into the final show with different announcements and has been included for continuity.
The shows are presented as they were originally broadcasted and include the tracks "I've Got The World On A String," "Crying In The Chapel," "Francesca," "Crazy Rhythm," "When Youre Smiling," "That Old Black Magic" and others. |
