Collection of 20 Kenton vocalists live and unissued spanning 1942 77. All of the music herein a sequel to the 2004 release is issued on disc for the first time anywhere. It stems from concerts, ballroom and club dates as well as radio broadcasts, TV spots and film appearances. The material spans most of Stan's career as a bandleader from 1942 1977. Thanks to today's advanced technology, the 20 tracks sound far superior to the master sources used. Each title has been painstakingly re mastered to insure the best possible sound results such as removal of annoying pops, hiss, scratches, distortion, dead air, pitch and balance correction on the stereo tracks. |
