This new album from Barbara Lea, her first in thirteen years for Audiophile, was first scheduled to be recorded in New Orleans during the time period when Hurricane Katrina devastated the city. When the rescheduled recordings took place in March of 2006, Barbara added the tune "Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans", a song which has taken on added, deeper meaning and pathos since Katrina. |
