Manning is not new to recording he has made dozens of appearances on other musicians' recordings and his longtime collaboration with Swiss multi instrumentalist In addition to a host of recordings, Manning was the reedman and co leader of the Los Angeles Jazz Quartet and has shared the stage with countless great musicians, among them Bobby Bradford, Darek Oles, Alan Broadbent, Conte Candoli, Alphonse Mouzon, and Tootie Heath.
