MARCIA MARIA
BRASIL NATIVO | |
Description:
A truly interesting album by Marcia Maria with a blend of various forms of culture, the fusion of popular and refined music, the merging of jazz and world music. Marcia Maria created her style combining the musical heritage upheld by Fremeaux. Her 'samba funk' ranked her among the top artists and she played in the greatest European halls and festivals: Vienna, Nice and the Umbria Jazz Festival. In 1987, thanks to Yves Chamberland, she cut an album with some of France's best jazzmen: Andre Ceccarelli, Jean Marc Jafet and Robert Persi. . |
