Freddy Martin's sweet smooth saxophone playing earned him the nickname "Mr. Silvertone". He had 20 hits reach the top ten, and he was famous for "swingin' the classics". He took numerous classical pieces & transformed them into swing hits, including his theme song "Tonight We Love" from Tchaikovsky's "Piano Concerto in B flat". Features the songs "I've Got A Lovely Bunch Of Coconuts" with Merv Griffin, "April In Paris," "Bumble Boogie Flight Of The Bumble Bee" & others.
