In this fifth compilation of The Mills Brothers recording chronology, we depart in two ways from the pattern set by the preceding four volumes. Included herein are the first titles made for commercial release which do not feature the four singers together. There is also a break from sequential presentation to enable the inclusion of three titles that rightfully belong to earlier volumes, of which more later int this narrative: "Shuffle Your Feet/Bandanna Babies", "My Little Grass Shack In Kealakekua Hawaii", and an alternative to "Sweet Lucy Brown". |
