Recorded live in Surrey, England on January 7th, 1974 featuring New Orleans trombonist Louis Nelson and the Gothic Jazz Band from Britain. The record for this recording was never issued, languishing for fifteen years before being purchased by Barry Martyn in 1989 for eventual release by GHB. Now a further seventeen years along the way, the master tape was located in the GHB vaults, remastered with two extra tracks added to make it a compact disc length and finally released. This is a fitting and lasting testimony of the music of Brina "Bee" Minter and the legendary Gothic Jazz Band. |
