Winner of Downbeat awards for Outstanding Performance Original Song, Jazz Arrangement Co Winner, Outstanding Group and Outstanding Jazz Ensemble, Andy Nevala is an up and coming force in the Latin jazz scene. His debut release on Capri, Alone Together showcases his talents in performance, writing and arranging. Andy is also joined by Brazilian bassist "Bijou" Barbarosa, conga master Victor Neves, GRP All Star percussionist, Mike Marlier and others. The group weaves through a variety of standards and original compositions all with a Latin flair, with lots of superb percussion and interaction between the players.
