Featuring Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Charles Mingus and Max Roach. It appears here in the actual order of performance and without the added bass and echo which darkened the sound quality of some issues. As a bonus, the master take of 'Bass ically Speaking', recorded at a New York studio, which was originally included by Mingus as part of the Massey Hall concert. Includes 16 page booklet with original liner notes and amazing photos from the concert. |
