This album 'Fifteen Years On' originally recorded in 1984 as the first release on the newly formed Pasadena Records label, and re released here in 2009 by Upbeat Recordings, is a collection of great titles, brilliantly performed by the renowned Pasadena Roof Orchestra. What is not usually documented is the sheer hard work and professionalism that goes into making an album, any album, but especially an album which only takes 12 hours to record. On that day in 1984 the Pasadena Roof Orchestra was as usual in top form. The titles are those which everybody knows, or they think they know, the nub of title selection, and played at tempos which people can dance to, even if they are sitting down.
