The West coast equivalent of Harlem's 125th Street, Central Avenue was the main steam of Black Los Angeles during the first half of the 20th Century. Every show biz or sports celebrity of the era passed throught at one time or another. This CD features state of the art transfers from the actual acetate and tape masters created by these legendary artists at the original, historic recordings sessions.
