FRANK SINATRA
LIVE AT BLACKPOOL OPERA HOUSE 1953 | |
Description:
This show, like most, reflected the renewed confidence that Sinatra displayed generally throughout this 1953 UK tour. Sinatra sings in often inspired but casual mode, almost providing a stand up routine between songs, and playing everything by ear. Billy Ternent's Orchestra lived up to the occasion, providing a fine accompaniment, while Sinatra's regular pianist Bill Miller, was also on hand. The result is a performance by one of the 20th Century’s greatest singers at the peak of his art. |
