Description:
Seattle saxophonist Mark Taylor reunites with an old friend, Los Angeles based pianist Gary Fukashima, along with bassist Jeff Johnson and drummer Byron Vannoy for a creative and wide ranging set of original music. His first outing as leader in 6 years, Taylor has kept himself busy as an intregal member of multiple Origin recording groups including the Jim Knapp Orchestra, Thomas Marriott and Matt Jorgensen 451, and was recently announced Northwest Instrumentalist of the Year at the 2009 Earshot Jazz Awards. |
