Description:
Reissued by popular demand. This recordings dates from 1990 and has been one of The Temperance Seven's best sellers since then. Made to celebrate 33 years of The Temperance Seven and their love of cricket Features chart hits. This recording os the long awaited collection of yet more sparkling gems from The Temperance Seven taken from their repertoire of symphonic syncopation and featuring their much loved hits from yesteryear. There are new songs too. As well as mega arrangers, three of The Temperance Seven have put pen to manuscript instead of practising their maiden covers. The title song 33 Not Out was penned by that well known combination of writers Deighan and Buckley, and, not forgetting Ziggy of course written by that wizard of the penny whistle Wee Will McHastie. This unique band continues to be number one in their field of jazz. They're still having a jolly good innings and going strong for their century, scoring hits with both young and old alike. All in all 33 Not Out is another fine masterpiece from The Temperance Seven, a good mixture of the novelty items that only THe Temperance Seven can play with any degree of panache and also lost of GOOD HOT JAZZ. |
