Here are 26 classic recordings Sarah Vaughan made from 1946 50, starting with her unique collaborations with Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker & Flip Phillips. She continued to work with many of finest jazzmen, including Teddy Wilson, Buck Clayton & Charlie Ventura. At the same time, she recorded superb renditions in non jazz settings, including the all vocal "Nature Boy". There are 4 tracks from the famous George Treadwell sessions in May 1950 when Sassy's backing group featured the young Miles Davis.
