Description:
26 track compilation contains the complete King recordings of this bonafide legend of Post WWII blues shouting, brought together in one package for the first time. If not as prolific, Eddie Vinson was as big a star in his heyday the period covered by these recordings as his label mates Wynonie Harris and Roy Brown, and remained a popular draw on the blues circuit right up to his death in 1988. These tracks were cut from 1949 52, and include the sequel to his classic "Cherry Red" and a real treat for collectors a previously unissued and once thought lost original version of the Wynonie Harris hit, "Sittin' On It All The Time". |
