This album was recorded in Jan., 1971 at Diebel's Bier Stube in Columbus, Ohio, where traditional jazz pianist Terry Waldo had been playing several nights a week for a few years. Waldo had worked with Gene Mayl's Dixieland Rhythm Kings, Turk Murphy & Ted Shafer prior to starting his own band. Formed in 1970, Waldo's Gutbucket Syncopators have recorded for GHB & Stomp Off. This 13 track album contains 5 bonus tracks, and features Roy Tate, Jim Snyder, Frank Powers, Bob Sundstrom, Mike Walbridge & Wayne Jones, who are members of the Original Salty Dogs.
