The primary attraction of the London sessions is the chance Fats gets to play his favorite instrument, the organ, making it sing and dance with a combination of strength and delicacy seldom found elsewhere. We also hear him in contemplative mood, in the London Suite, presented here in a more complete form than has been available for a long time, and in an exquisite pair of duets with Adelaide Hall.
