Trumpeter Lu Watters was a key figure in the post war traditional jazz revival, and the inspiration to many others in Britain & elsewhere to purvey the wares of New Orleans jazz. Features the distinctive voice of banjoist Clancy Hayes on many tracks. Includes Don Noakes trombone, Bob Helm clarinet, Wally Rose piano and Bill Dart drums.
