In 2005, on the occasion of Charles "Duff" Campbell's 90th Birthday Glenna & Charles Campbell celebrated with a party to beat all parties, and the band they chose to provide the "Real and Righteous" Jazz was the Yerba Buena Stompers. The concert, Duff Campbell's Revenge was issued on Diamondstack Productions DSCD 10905 and aided by an outstanding review by the late Floyd Levin resulted in one of the best selling Traditional Jazz CDs of 2005. The year is now 2009, and Duff declared "I'm 94, I've got to dance! Time for another party"! On January 18th, Glenna & Charles celebrated birthdays again at Bimbo's 365 Club, with close friends, including The Yerba Buena Stompers. The YBS continues to be the only jazz group that can bring back the exciting dynamic 2 trumpet sound of the original Lu Watters Yerba Buena Jazz Band, and The KIng Oliver Creole Jazz Band. The YBS Lineup on this CD include 3 former members of the Turk Murphy Jazz Band, Leon Oakley Trumpet; John Gill Leader, Drums, Vocals; and Ray Skjelbred Piano, along with Tom Bartlett Trombone; Duke Heitger Trumpet, Vocal; Orange Kellin Clarinet; Vince Saunders Banjo; and Ray Cadd Tuba. Special guests include Pat Yankee Vocals and Robbie Rhodes Intermission Piano.
